So, I've been thinking it's pretty dumb of me that, up til now, I have not celebrated the amazing accomplishments of some of the top female mountain bike racers. It's been a man's sport (though I have to admit in all fairness, they are some of our biggest fans and supporters) but the ladies have proven they can crush it on the world's toughest courses.
For my first celebration, I bring you
Allison Mann (no pun intended). She has a full time job but still manages to train and compete at a high level. It's all about balance, right? You'll also note her pre-race and post race food choices. They sound very familiar!
